Traci Alexander, MSW, LSW
Traci Alexander is an affectionate and compassionate person who is driven by caring for others, especially children and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or mental illness and their families.
Growing up in an economically disadvantaged community, she observed a plethora of problems. As a result, she became inspired to make a difference in the lives of others. She knew that she wanted to do more for the people in her community. Traci earned her Associate’s degree from Ivy Tech Community College. She later earned a Master’s degree at Indiana University in 2016.
While in college, she began her journey in human services and eventually obtained her degree in social work. She spent years working at a group home as a Direct Support Professional. It was natural for Traci to care for others with intellectual disabilities and mental illness. She worked at the Department of Child Services as a family case manager for three years. She continued her employment at the group home. Traci became a provider/mentor for children with challenging behaviors.
She is the owner of Touch of Hope Home Care Services, which serves individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Traci is the mother of one caring son and the grandmother of one beautiful granddaughter. She enjoys hosting at her house and playing games with family and friends.
